You’ll receive a $500 Associate Referral BONUS for every hired referral. All Associates are eligible to participate in the Associate Referral Program (ARP) starting on their first day of employment!

There are two easy ways to refer candidates to CITY Furniture:

Associate Referral Program Policy details:

  • Associates are eligible for their $500 Associate Referral Bonus when their referral reaches 30 days of active employment
  • Associate Referral Bonuses are paid weekly following the 30th day of active employment
  • The referring Associate must also be actively employed to receive an Associate Referral Bonus
  • All current Associates are eligible to receive a referral bonus except as follows:
    • Leaders and Associates are NOT eligible to receive awards for referrals where they have an input and/or are involved in the hiring decision
    • Associates who represent CITY Furniture and Ashley HomeStore at job fairs and/or college recruitment events are NOT eligible for referrals that result from attendance at these functions
    • If the candidate referred is a former Associate of CITY Furniture and Ashley HomeStore (rehire)
  • An Associate Referral Bonus will be paid for all positions posted in the Applicant Tracking System
  • An Associate Referral Bonus will be paid at a reduced rate (50%) for part-time positions. An Associate Referral Bonus will not be paid for an intern, contractor, or temporary position, unless otherwise specified.
  • All awards are considered taxable income and appropriate payroll deductions will be made

There is no limit on the number of successful referrals that can be made by an Associate

Award payments will be paid in one time $500 payment at the first paycheck after the referred Associate has been hired and completed 30 days of active employment. All awards are considered taxable income and appropriate payroll deductions will be made. Both the referred Associate and referring Associate must be actively employed in order to receive an ARP Award. Associates are eligible to refer candidates starting on their 1st day of employment.
Example: If your referral starts on January 10, then they would hit 30 days of active employment on February 10th. Your referral bonus would be submitted for the following pay period.
